The East Avenue Medical Center remains at the forefront of healthcare delivery in the country, primarily serving the marginalized members of our community. As expected, the hospital is now catering to both COVID19 positive patients and Persons Under Investigation. We are following strict guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Department of Health (DOH) in the management of these patients. This is to assure the public that we are implementing a strong triaging system to ensure the protection of our Health Care Workers (HCWs) and prevent the spread of the disease.

We strongly suggest everyone to seek consult in your nearest Barangay Health Centers for any health concerns. In case there is a need for higher specialty services, all of EAMC’s services (out-patient specialty services, rehabilitation services, laboratory, and blood bank, etc.) will still be open for limited access if needed.

For our patients, stay home, keep safe, and eat healthy. We need your cooperation to stop the disease from spreading. If you develop symptoms, consult your nearest health center or the emergency room of the nearest hospital.

For our fellow HCWs, we need you to stay healthy and be prepared to answer the call to be on duty if the time comes.

We have been preparing for the time that this disease will enter our premises. And now that it has, all hands on deck. Humanity will prevail, which pandemic will not.
